Local News 2017There is a special meeting scheduled for Thursday morning, June 13th that could be very important to farmers in Marshall County.    The impromptu meeting is geared toward farmers that were unable to get their crops in the ground due to all of the rain that Marshall County experienced.

The meeting will be held in the Matchett Senior Center at 805 North Harris Street in Bourbon at 8 a.m.

Did your farm ground receive too much rain?  Can’t get your crop seed in the ground?  Don’t know what to do?  Industry experts from Crop Insurance, FSA and Cover Crop Seed will be available to provide information and answers to farmer’s questions.

Coffee and donuts will be served and the farmers are encouraged to attend this Thursday, June 13th meeting.
