On Thursday, June 6th just before 10 p.m. the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department received a call in reference to a single vehicle accident on Underwood Road south of 4B Road.
Officer Rans arrived on the scene and began an investigation. He determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash. The driver, 39 year old Jesse Whitmer of Walkerton was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
Jesse Whitmer was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and issued a Superior II court date of June 25.
