Therapy dogs Joni and Mae visited residents at Miller’s Assisted Living recently. Joni and Mae are black labs and they happen to be sisters. They are very well behaved and follow the commands of their trainers/owners Joanna Cox and Tracey Leeper.
For the dogs first visit they spent time in the Main lobby and also walked up and down the corridors visiting residents in the common areas and in individual apartments. The dogs were trained and certified using methods through Therapy Dogs International.
Miller’s residents are very appreciative of visiting therapy animals, well-behaved pets and children. Traveling along with Joni and Mae was 4 year old Birthday Princess Reagan Leeper, Tracey’s grand-daughter!
