PHS Chamber Orchestra 2019The Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Organizational Festivals are held in the spring and involves schools from all across the state. On Friday, April 12, the second week of the Organizational Festival took place at Concord High School.

The Plymouth High School Symphony Orchestra led by PHS Director of Orchestras, Mrs. Jodi Kallenberg traveled to Concord High School to compete in the ISSMA Organizational Contest. They competed at the Group III Level and received a Gold rating with an additional Gold Rating in the sight reading category. The PHS Chamber Orchestra also competed in the ISSMA Organizational Festival as well.

This was the first year for the orchestra to compete at the highest level, Group 1. Ms. Kallenberg, the said PHS Chamber Orchestra received a Gold Rating for their performance. This is the first Gold Rating at the Group 1 level in the history of the PHS Orchestra program.
