The Marshall County Coroner’s office investigated a two vehicle crash on U.S. 30 that resulted in a Bourbon woman being killed.
The accident which occurred about 4:30 Saturday afternoon at Beech Road brought traffic to a standstill.
Marshall County Coroner John Grolich said accident happened when 62 year old Valma Shupp pulled the passenger car she was driving out in front of a semi tanker that was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30. The semi struck the passenger side of her vehicle.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene along troopers from the Indiana State Police and Emergency responders from Bourbon.
Grolich confirmed that the semi drive was not injured in the crash.
