The Marshall County Council meets this morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
Agenda for the meeting includes three requests to waive the probationary pays. Sheriff’ Matt Hassel is first up with a request followed by Jason Peters from the County Highway Department and Doug Masterson from the County’s Building and Grounds.
Also on their agenda is an update on the new VOIP telephone system in the County Building and a request for additional funds to begin the project in the Court House by Information Systems Director Michael Marshall.
The County Council will also consider additional appropriations requests along with transfer requests.
The County Council will also have a review of abatements and consideration of two salary amendments for the 2019 Salary Ordinance.
The final piece of business is the Waggoner, Irwin and Scheele (WIS) job classification and compensation study by the committee.
The County Council meeting is open to the public.
