City HallThe City of Plymouth will hold their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.

Members will hear department head reports and Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will present a request for sidewalk improvements at 714 Pennsylvania Avenue.  City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a request from Century Link to work in the city’s right-of-way at State Farm on North Oak Drive.  Gaul will also present the 2019 Street & Sidewalk Fall Project list.

Under requests the Board of Works will consider a request for a street closure from the Summer Sippin’ Craft Brew Fest by Zack Ferree and a closure of Center Street by Molly Kuykendall from St. Michael Church.

Mayor Mark Senter will also ask to move the next city meeting to Wednesday, May 29th due to the Memorial Day Holiday and the County Republicans Lincoln Day Dinner on Tuesday the 28th.

The Plymouth City Council will meet at 6:30 and will consider on 2nd and 3rd reading an ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Plymouth concerning Fair Housing.  They will also get an update on the Stellar Committee’s progress for the next application.

The city meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.  Those attending the city meetings should enter through the Garro Street door and move up to the second floor.
