Volunteers Honored At Miller’s

April 15, 2019

Miller's_Volunteer Banquet 2019“YOU Are An Essential Piece” of our program was the theme chosen for the 2019 Volunteer Banquet at Miller’s Senior Living Community in April.  Volunteers from Miller’s Merry Manor and Miller’s Assisted Living Facility were invited to attend a dinner at the Assisted Living in their honor.  The volunteers also enjoyed a musical program by The Swing Sisters of Mishawaka and each volunteer received a Certificate of Appreciation and a puzzle piece magnet created by the residents of the facility.

Administrator Bryan Zehr welcomed the volunteers and their guests.  Assisted Living Recreational Activities Director Cindy Flagg led a prayer before the meal.  The musical program designed especially for Miller’s volunteers included songs about friendship and how important their giving and helping is to the residents.

Flagg, Anna Corbett, Director of Marketing and Mary Wraight, Nursing Facility Recreational Activities Director then introduced their individual volunteers and presented the certificates.  Flagg stressed the importance of volunteers to the success of the activity programs.
