The ninth annual Max Move will be start at 9 a.m. this Saturday in front of the Naval Building at Culver Academies. Max Move is a recreational event that encourages everyone to move around Culver’s Lake Maxinkuckee at their own pace. People may run, walk fast, or stroll the roughly 10-mile course. It is free and open to the public.
The walk starts and finishes at the Naval Building. People are asked to register in advance by emailing event director Dana Neer. People registering on Saturday are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. to sign up. For those unable to complete the course, a chase vehicle will be available to take them back to Logansport Gate. There will also be three support and gear stops along the route.
Parking is available at the hockey rink or around The Oval near the flagpoles.
