Larry HollowayPlymouth Community School Corporation has received notice of the resignation of Larry Holloway, at-large representative to the Plymouth Community School Corporation Board of Trustees. With this resignation comes the opportunity for a nominee to serve the Plymouth Community Schools by completing the remainder of this term, ending December 31, 2020. The vacant position must be filled by the Board thirty days from the date of the resignation, which was effective April 16, 2019.

 

• The nominee must live inside the Plymouth Community School Corporation boundaries.

• The nominee must have lived within the Plymouth Community School Corporation boundaries for at least the last year.

• The nominee must possess all qualifications provided under state and federal law for a regularly elected governing body member filling the office.

• The nominee must write a letter to the Board identifying why he/she would like to be chosen to complete the term.

• The nominee must be available to be interviewed by the Board on Thursday, May 2, 2019 with interviews starting at 6:00 p.m. and running until all are interviewed.

• The nominee must attend the Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Board meeting. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. when the Board will vote on the position in open session.

• The nominee voted into the position will take his/her respective seat that evening, will be sworn in, and will be eligible to take part in the Board meeting that evening.
