This past weekend, Marshall County Community Corrections clients as well as staff members had the privilege of completing community service work at Marshall County’s very own David’s Courage.
Staff and clients worked side by side in an effort to push David’s Courage even closer to opening its doors. Sanding and painting walls, hanging doors, fixing fixtures, and cleaning were some of the tasks completed.
There is still more painting and other work that needs done before the sober living home can open. If you or anyone you know is interested in donating a piece of your time to help this much needed cause, there are various opportunities throughout the week as well as Fridays and Saturdays from 9AM-2PM.
