Alicia Michilli and Shannon LaBrie will bring their soulful vocals to Wild Rose Moon this Friday, April 12th at 8:00 p.m. and to the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour on Saturday, April 13th at 11 a.m.  Alicia, an R&B/Soul singer-songwriter, and Shannon, a “folk goddess” as referred by Country Music Television, are two artists who bring their heart into each and every performance.

Shannon LaBrie’s music defies genre and brings to life insightful stories of a woman who remains true to herself in a life where uncertainty is certain. The Lincoln, NE native instantly became a favorite among music fans and critics alike with her powerful 2016 album War & Peace. With lead singles, “Alcohol,” and “It’s Political” the independent release reached inside the Top Ten on iTunes, Spotify’s US viral chart and Triple A Radio charts.  “Her songs unfold with style and subtlety, coasting over the albums lush arrangements via LaBrie’s gorgeous voice” said Rolling Stone magazine.

With over 12 millions streams on Spotify and Apple Music, Shannon has toured over 500 dates. Amongst those she has opened for Gabe Dixon, Phoenix, ZZ Ward, Billy Bob Thornton, Rayland Baxter, Robert Randolph, The Head and the Heart, The Wild Feathers, Michael Franti and Valerie June. Her résumé now includes her first album cut, which is the lead single on Robert Randolphs newest album “Got Soul.” The album just received a Grammy nomination for “Best Contemporary Blues Album.”

Alicia Michilli is a soulful and inspirational vocalist who originated from Detroit, MI. Her singing career received a huge boost from her terrific run on the television program, America’s Got Talent, with cover songs like I Put A Spell on You and I’d Rather Go Blind.  This has given her attention and support from numerous fans, writers, and performers. Alicia’s single Crazy and her acclaimed album, Letters from the Edge, are full of passion, spunk, soul, and originality.
