O'Reilly Auto PartsNext week the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals will consider the request of Clover Development Group for a variance for parking at 1930 North Michigan Street.

The property at 1930 North Michigan Street is currently home to Long John Silver’s and owned by LV Associates LLC out of Jasper.

The developer, Clover Development from Fortville, IN is proposing to redevelop the building into an O’Reilly’s auto parts store.   They need a variance on the parking standard to allow for the continued use of the existing parking spaces in the North Michigan Street right-of-way.  It was noted in the application that providing the required parking on other areas of the property would impair their ability to meet the side and rear setback standards as well as the green-space standards.

The Plymouth BZA will also consider the request of Mary Relos of 15959 7th Road.  Relos is seeking a variance of use to construct a single family home and accessory buildings on a piece of property that is zoned Industrial.  The proposal is to separate out 3 acres from the 40 acre parcel to build a new home by Mary’s daughter.  The home would sit back off the road 650 feet.

The Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals meeting begins at 7:30, Tuesday, April 2nd in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall.  Anyone attending should enter through the Garro Street entrance.
