Plymouth black metal sign 2019The Plymouth Common Council took the next step in creating a TIF district on the north side of Plymouth Goshen Trail for the Centennial Crossing residential development.

The Centennial Crossing housing development will provide a diverse mix of housing stock within the city limits.

Council members unanimously approved a resolution in support of the TIF District, noting that the Plymouth Plan Commission had sent a favorable recommendation to the council saying that it fits into the city’s Comprehensive plan.

Funds collected through the TIF will be used to help off-set the infrastructure cost for the new development being built by Construction Management and design (CMD) on property that is currently owned by Tanya and Carl Stockberger.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi told members of the council the project is moving forward.  He said the developer has submitted an application for a PUD (planned unit development) the Plymouth Common Council will consider during their May meeting.
