City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening, March 25th beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.  Members will be updated by department heads on the various activities in their department.

Plymouth Fire Department is going to discuss the Marshall County REMC Operation Round Up Program for new CPR training equipment and FireHouse Subs for tactical protection vests.   Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will discuss a sidewalk request at 738 Thayer Street and City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a request to work in the city’s right-of-way.

Under requests, a representative from the P-Town Cruz’n Car Show will be on hand seeking approval to close Michigan Street for the annual event.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30.  The council will consider on second and third reading an ordinance regarding the permitting of wireless facilities and support structures in the city’s right-of-way.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present two ordinances on first reading: the first an amendment to the personnel policy and the second for the new requirement for contractors to register in the city.    Surrisi will also present a resolution creating a Tax Incremental Financing District on Plymouth Goshen Trail for the Centennial Crossings residential development.

The meetings are held on the second floor of city hall and comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
