Wednesday was the FIRST day of spring and residents of Miller’s Assisted Living celebrated by crafting their very own spring time birds to display in their apartments or to give as a gift.
Under the direction of Volunteer Sharon the crafters used different lengths of yarn and cotton balls to make the bird bodies and wings. They then added wiggle eyes, cardstock beaks and pipe cleaner birdy feet.
Those who chose not to make the craft did decide to drop in and watch the bird making in progress.
