Legion fire dept 2019The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 27 in Plymouth donated to the City of Plymouth Department of Fire and EMS to support the Firepup Program (Fire Safety and Burn Prevention Program). With the donations they receive they will be able to supply materials to assist their department in teaching children fire safety and burn prevention. Their goal is to distribute over 15,000 pieces of educationally sound fire safety and prevention materials to over 2,300 children and members of the community.

The mission to the American Legion Auxiliary is to support the American Legion and honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For god and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
