ShopliftingPlymouth Police arrested a Knox man following a brief foot chase early Wednesday morning.

About 2:30 on March 13th Plymouth units were dispatched to 2505 North Oak Drive, Walmart for two subjects concealing merchandise on their person.

Arriving on the scene, the male subject lead Officer Miller on a brief foot chase.   He was apprehended and a short investigation determined that the two subjects be arrested for Theft.

45 year old Kimberly Marie Tolson of Knox was charged with Theft and held in the Marshall County Jail on a $750 cash bond.  The male, 45 year old Joshua James Estok also Knox arrested and lodged in the jail for Theft and Resisting and held on a $1,000 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
