Plymouth Community SchoolsThe Plymouth Schools will continue to welcome students from outside of their school district as long as there are open spaces. During the March 5 school board meeting, the Plymouth School Board approved accepting applications for transfer students throughout the entire school year, ending on May 28. The board must approve the application period annually. Capacity for students from kindergarten to eighth grade is 325 per grade level.  They did not set a limit for high school transfer students.

Additionally, the adult education classes will continue to receive funding. According to Superintendent Andy Hartley, the program has been successful with class offerings on the school campus, at the Plymouth Public Library, and at the Marshall County Jail.

The next regular board meeting is set for April 9.
