MugShot_christopher ballingerOn Saturday, February 16th, at 6:12 PM, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a teal 1994 Oldsmobile in the area of Michigan and 7th Road.

During the investigation Officer Wozniak utilized his canine partner Irok around the exterior of the vehicle for a free air sniff. Officer Wozniak`s canine alerted to the odor of narcotics and a probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in finding marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and a methamphetamine pipe with residue.

A passenger in the vehicle, 28 year old Christopher L. Ballinger of North Liberty was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
