Melissa (Hanley) Clanton is running for Clerk-Treasurer for the Town on Bourbon on the Republican ticket.
Born and raised in the great community of Bourbon Clanton says she and her husband Brian have raised five children in Triton School Corporation. The owned and operated Bourbon Tropics for many years and she hired staff and managed the day to day operations of the business. Melissa also commended the First State Bank of Bourbon for providing her with valuable financial experience and customer service.
An active member of the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, Melissa Clanton is a long time supporter of the Triton Schools and community where she proudly served as a volunteer EMS driver.
In closing Clanton said, “I am looking forward to bringing new ideas and making a positive impact for the town employees, Fire Department, Police Department, Emergency Services, Town Council and especially for the citizens of Bourbon.”
