The Marshall County Council meets Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. Their agenda has a number of items including Sheriff Matt Hassel who will present a revised Commissary Report. He will also present the 2019 Commissary Fund Budget for approval and discuss the updated job descriptions for the Detective Lieutenant and First Sergeant.
Evelyn Shields from WIC will give her quarterly report and so will Linda Williams from the Marshall County Museum. Ty Adley from the Plan Commission and Chuck DeWitt the County Building Inspector will present their annual reports.
Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will request permission to apply for the 2019 Edward Byrne Memorial JAG grant and the council will consider additional appropriation requests along with several Salary amendments.
Their final order of business is appointment Maria Keller to the Marshall County Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
The meetings are open to the public although comments are limited to the first order of business.
Following the Council meeting at 10:30 the Marshall County Commissioners and Council will convene for a special joint work session for the purpose of discussing the Water Task Force and receiving information from Ken Jones of Jones Petrie Rafinski Corp. and Dr. Byron Holm.
