Warming Shelter 2019City of Plymouth is offering a warming shelter for residents who need a place to warm up during this dramatic cold weather we are experiencing.

Mayor Mark Senter said Monday evening during the Common Council meeting, “If citizens are unable to find a warm place to stay with friends or family, they should contact the Plymouth Police Department and the will assist you.”

The mayor said the warming shelter will be located at the Conservation Clubhouse but the building won’t be open until there is a need.  There will be cots and blankets provided and the mayor said a couple of local churches have offered to provide meals for those in the warming shelter.  There are restroom facilities in the Conservation Club House but no showers.

If you need of the warning shelter call the Plymouth Police Department at 574-936-2126.  The shelter will be open all week.
