Plymouth Police Chief, David Bacon released the 2018 Activity Report for his department.
Last year the police department handled 9,840 calls for service, complaints and information. They also had 984 911 hang-up calls. Plymouth Police Officers responded to 864 alarms; conducted 317 vehicle checks; assisted other agencies 102 times and were dispatched to 310 animal complaints.
City police officers conducted 3,911 traffic stops in 2018; issued 1,899 citations; completed 509 accident reports and 1,701 case reports. Last year Plymouth Police arrested 80 juveniles and 548 adults.
