The Town of Argos is currently seeking members to fill open positions for the Argos Board of Zoning Appeals and the Argos Plan Commission.
Both the Argos Board of Zoning Appeals and Plan Commission meet only as needed.
At this time the Argos Board of Zoning Appeals is in need of one volunteer member. Current members are: Dale Blanch; Phillip Scott; James Hoffer; Rob Hurford and Pete DeVos.
The Argos Plan Commission is seeking one regular volunteer member. Current members include: Dale Blanch; Valerie Harley; Ray Trump; Pete DeVos and Debi Scott.
Lisa Mullaney, Argos Clerk-Treasurer said the members must live within the Argos town limits. She also said the Plan Commission is looking for three professionals to volunteer to sit on the board. These volunteers would be able to offer their expertise in assisting the Plan Commission. Suggested professionals included an attorney and a contractor.
Anyone interested in sitting on either of these boards is asked to contact the Argos Clerk’s office.
