Bourbon Water Tower_1Tuesday evening the Bourbon Town Board set yet another meeting with representatives of Shell.  One or more council members and possibly the town’s attorney, Tony Wagner, agreed to meet on January 17 in hopes of coming to a resolution of the ongoing problems of debris piled on the Shell property. It was noted during the meeting that attempts have been made for some three years to come to an agreement.

In other business, Bourbon Clerk/Treasurer Kim Berger said the 2019 budget of $1,497,200 was approved as advertised. The council also approved cancelling checks that were not cashed for water deposits totaling $634.29. She said the town received $2,779.47 from the county property taxes on properties that had tax liens on.

The Bourbon Town Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P. M.
