Bourbon policeBourbon Police arrested Lee A. Motz Jr. after it was determined he battered his wife.

On December 27th, just before 11 p.m. Officer Matthew Geiger was dispatched to 206 West Center Street in Bourbon for a domestic situation.   Officer Geiger spoke to the victim as Officer Mathew Haskins searched for the suspect, Lee Motz Jr. because he had left the residence prior to police arriving.

About 2:15 in the morning at December 28th Officer Geiger was dispatched back to the residence because Motz had returned to the residence.

Lee Motz Jr. was arrested for Felony Domestic Battery and Invasion of Privacy due to the fact a restraining order had been brought against him prior to the altercation.

Motz was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond and given a January 15th court date.
