Plymouth Elks Lodge 2548 hosted the Local Hoop Shoot on Dec 2nd. Students from ages 8-13 participated in this youth activity.
With the support of the area gym teachers and PHS Athletic Director and Boys and Girls basketball players, along with Plymouth Elks Lodge Officers, the contest was a success.
The winners in each category are:
8-9 boys – 1st Frank Chaney; 2nd Thomas Oliver-Overmyer
10-11 boys – 1st Nick Manzuk; 2nd Noah Ambrose
12-13 boys – 1st Trey Delp; 2nd Telly Rogers
8-9 girls – 1st Morgan Blackburn; 2nd Alexis Pike
10-11 girls – 1st Madyson Sullivan; 2nd Courtlynne Deacon
12-13 girls – 1st Emma Krupp; 2nd Emma Winkle
The first place winner will represent the Plymouth Elks Lodge at the District Hoop Shoot competition scheduled for Sunday, Jan 6 at the PHS Varsity Gym.
