Red Kettle Bell Ringer 2018_FireDoug Kucera, Director of the Salvation Army in Marshall County was very happy with this year’s Red Kettle Campaign.

Kucera had a goal of $10,000 to be collected by the Bell Ringers  between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  On Friday, Kucera announced that nearly $14,000 was raised and that total does not include funds raised in the Culver or Bremen campaigns.

Kucera wanted to thank all the volunteers who rang bells at Walmart and Kroger.  He said, “Without the volunteers this program would not be able to help those in need in Marshall County during all of 2019.”  He also thanked all those who donated, rather it was a hand full of change or dollar bills tucked into the red kettle, Kucera said, “I want to thank the Plymouth community for their support of the Salvation Army…together we raised $13,900.46!”
