Swearing In 2018 DecThe Honorable Judge Robert Bowen of Marshall Superior Court I had the privilege of administering the oath of office to the 2019 elected officials Friday morning.

Elected officials from the County and Township gathered in the auxiliary courtroom in the Court House with their family members to watch as they recited their oath of office.

Judge Bowen read the oath of office and each elected official stood at the front of the courtroom with their right hand held high and repeated after him:  “I (state your name), do solemnly affirm that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Indiana and the I will faithfully and impartially discharge my duties as (state your office, so help me God.”

Swearing In 2018 Dec Mandy CampbellFollowing the ceremony Judge Bowen congratulated everyone and those in attendance had the judge and Marshall County Clerk Deb VanDeMark signed their oaths.

The newly sworn in officials will take office on January 1st.
