Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) recently appointed Senator Randy Head as chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary for the 121st Indiana General Assembly.
Head said, “My experience as a lawyer has prepared me to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary. The 2019 session will bring many pieces of proposed legislation that my committee members and I will thoroughly study and discuss. I will work hard to continue addressing issues facing our community and the state of Indiana.”
Senator Head will also serve as a member of the Senate Committees on Appropriations; Elections; Family and Children Services; and Rules and Legislative Procedure.

The 2019 legislative session ceremonially began Tuesday, Nov. 20, with Organization Day. Legislators will reconvene Jan. 3 and, by law, must conclude the legislative session no later than April 29.
