Scott Randle, Resident Project Representative with SEH of Indiana released details Thursday afternoon on phase II of the Greenway Trail project.
The pedestrian bridge in phase II will place after the Christmas holiday. The contractor plans on installing the bridge on Wednesday Dec 26.
The contractor plans to move the bridge from its current location on River Street and cross Garro Street on Wednesday morning Dec 26, starting roughly at 9 a.m. weather permitting. They ask that vehicular traffic avoid the area from Wednesday morning until Wednesday early afternoon.
The contractor will have flaggers on the road to help with traffic but delays or restriction can be expected during this time frame. Once the bridge gets safely across the street there will be no restrictions on Garro Street.
