Jack Jordan_St. Rep.2017State Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) encourages students who want to learn more about state government to participate in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2019 legislative session.

According to Jordan, those who are between the ages of 13 to 18 can spend a day at the Statehouse in Indianapolis helping staff and local legislators, touring government offices, and learning about the legislative process.

“This is an excellent opportunity for students with an interest in government to learn a lot about the legislative process,” Jordan said. “Participants can work with staff and myself in the House Chamber, and tour important government offices like the governor’s. There are a limited number of positions, so interested students should apply soon.”

Jordan said student pages receive an excused absence from school and groups can participate together. For more information and to sign up, visit www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram or call 800-382-9841.
