30 year old David Cottrell was arrested on Thursday, December 13th about 1:30 in the afternoon for the crimes of Sexual Battery, Criminal Confinement, Escape, Resisting Law Enforcement.
Mr. Cottrell was being investigated for the Sexual Battery and Criminal Confinement charges when, after arrest, he fled on foot leading to the extra charges of Escape and Resisting Law Enforcement.
He was apprehended after a foot pursuit and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail.
