owi-arrestTwo women were arrested on Sunday and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated.

The first arrest happened about a quarter till one in the morning.  72 year old Donna K. Wood of Walkerton was stopped near the intersection of Randolph Street and Plymouth Goshen Trail by Officer Jerrid Arnold.   After an investigation Ms. Wood was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.  Ms. Wood was released at noon on bond and given a January 15th court date in Marshall Superior Court II.

About 10:30 Sunday night, Officer Arnold conducted a traffic stop   near the intersection of Jefferson and First Streets.

The driver, 36 year old Drendalyn Ortiz was found to be suspended.  Shortly after, Mr. Ortiz arrived on scene of the traffic stop.   Following the investigation, Drendalyn Ortiz was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  She was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
