Marshall County Police investigated a report of gun shots and suspicious activity in the area of Union Road and 8th Road Saturday morning, December, 15th about 3:20.
Officer Ayala‘s report indicates that the suspect vehicle fled the scene shortly after the call came in.
When officers arrived in the area they attempted to locate the vehicle. The witness again and said the vehicle had returned to the residence and was driving by slowly outside using a spotlight on a group of deer in a field.
Officer Ayala then caught up with the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. During the investigation it was discovered that 23 year old Kyra Hite of Plymouth was in Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Handgun with No Permit.
Kyra Hite was booked into the Marshall County Jail for: Criminal Recklessness of a Handgun, Possession of Marijuana, Carrying a Pistol with No permit, and False Informing during the Commission of a Crime.
Hite was held on a $5,000 cash bond and given a court date of January 15th.
