On Sunday, December 9th, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department obtained a 911-emergency call of a domestic situation at the Gatewood Trailer Park, located south of LaPaz on Michigan Road.
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department went to the residence and investigated the complaint. Cody Collings, age 26, was arrested for Domestic Battery, in presence of a child under 16-years of age along with Resisting Law Enforcement.
Cody Collings was transported to and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Domestic Battery in the presence of a child and Resisting Law Enforcement. He was held on a $3,000 cash bond.
A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office for review and formal charges being filed.
