WTCA announced this morning at 9:10 that a school bus was struck on US 31 just south of 13t Road and emergency crews were responding to the scene.
Police are not releasing any details at this time but scanner traffic said the Eastern Pulaski School bus was struck by a truck and there are multiple injuries.
Information received by WTCA says the bus had 39 students from the Winamac middle school who were on a field trip to the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw to see Elf The Musical.
All lanes of US 31 between 13th and 14th Roads are closed and a Medflight helicopter landed on the scene.
All students were transported to Saint Joseph Health Systems Hospital in Plymouth were they will be reunited with their parents.
Scanner traffic indicated that the Marshall County Coroner was called to the scene.
