MugShot_carter morseA Plymouth man was arrested by County Police on Saturday, November 17th for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and False Informing.   

About 9:30 in the evening, Marshall County Patrolman Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2002 Chevrolet Impala in the area of Michigan Road and Custer Drive.

During the traffic stop, Patrolman Wozniak utilized his canine partner Irok for a free air sniff around the exterior of the vehicle. The canine alerted to the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the findings of a syringe and other paraphernalia.

The backseat passenger gave a false name at the scene. After being taken into custody and transported to the jail, 20 year old Carter Leroy Morse of 165 North Michigan Street advised he had a warrant through LaPorte County.

Morse was charged with felony unlawful possession of a syringe, misdemeanor false informing and is being held on a $3,000 cash bond and on the felony warrant through LaPorte County.
