Plymouth Color Logo2014Monday evening members of the Plymouth City Council took the final step in annexing two separate parcels into the city. Both annexations are voluntary.

The first annexation was from the Ritenours at 598 Hoham Drive.  Their residential lot is just over 2.5 acres and they currently have city water but have been on a septic service.  Their septic is failing and the County Health Department strongly suggested they hook up to the city’s service since it goes right in front of the property.

The second annexation is for Carl and Tanya Stockberger.  This is a 44 acre tract immediately north of Centennial Park on Plymouth Goshen Trail.  This property is being developed by Construction Management & Design (CMD) in Plymouth.  The multifaceted 2 to 3 phased housing development would be known as Centennial Crossing and the estimated investment is $20million.  The development would include 55 single family homes, a senior living apartment complex and several multi-family apartment building with a total of 220 to 250 apartments.

Both annexation ordinances were read and unanimously approved on 2nd and 3rd readings.
