The Marshall County Police received a report of sexual misconduct that was said to have occurred between a Jail employee and two female inmates in custody at the time.
It was found that on July 18th, 2017, Jeffery Price, a Marshall County employee assigned to the Jail Division had transported two female inmates from the Marshall County Jail to the Rockville Women`s Prison, located at 811 W 50 N, Rockville, Indiana. The sexual misconduct was reported to have occurred while en route to the prison.
During the course of the investigation, both females were located and interviewed. They both identified Jeffery Price as the jailer involved and provided similar accounts
denying sexual intercourse. They however provided details of other sexual conduct with Jeffery Price while driving down the road, to which they voluntarily participated.
An arrest warrant was issued charging 2 counts of sexual misconduct as a Level 5 felony.
After learning of the arrest warrant, Jeffery Price turned himself in to the Marshall County Jail. He was later released after posting a $1500 cash bond.
