Plymouth Community SchoolsThe Plymouth School Board voted 4-0 on November 5 to approve moving funds into a new school funding structure that meets new state requirements under House Bill 1009.   Beginning in 2019, their General Fund will be replaced by an Education Fund.  An Operation Fund will be in place to combine the Transportation Fund, Capital Projects Fund and the Bus Replacement Fund.

As of December 31, the current fund balances will move into the replacement funds.

In other matters, the board approved a service agreement for 2019 with Go Solutions Indiana. The company serves school corporations by recapturing monies within the Medicaid funding used for students in special education programs.
