MugShot_Jesse HowardA Mishawaka man was arrested Saturday night, November 4th by county police following a traffic stop.

About 10 p.m. Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a black 2013 Jeep Patriot in the area of US 6 and Pine Road for multiple infractions.  The driver of the vehicle, 38 year old Jesse A. Howard failed the field sobriety tests and the county’s K9 Irok indicated the presence of narcotics giving officers probable cause to search the vehicle. 

A small amount of marijuana and a syringe were located in the vehicle.  

Howard refused a certified test and was taken to the Plymouth Hospital where a search warrant was gathered.
His BAC results showed him to be almost two times the legal limit of alcohol. 

Jesse Howard lodged in the Marshall County Jail Operating a vehicle with a BAC of .08 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and driving while suspended – prior.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
