Students in the Plymouth Community School Corporation will have the opportunity to share their Veterans Day programs with the community again this year. On Friday, November 9th Plymouth High School students and staff invite all veterans, along with the community to attend this year’s Veterans Day program. The hour-long program will begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the varsity gymnasium. Before the start of the program, PHS welcomes local veterans to enjoy a complimentary breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m. in the lobby area near door #7 on the east side of the building. Riverside Intermediate School will conduct a school-wide assembly for students and their families onMonday, November 12th from 2 p.m. till 2:45 p.m. Area veterans, community members, and Riverside friends and family are welcome to attend.
Menominee Elementary School will host a Kindergarten through 4th grade Veterans Day school-wide program for students and students’ families on Thursday, November 8, from 1:30-2:15 p.m.
Webster Elementary School will host a Kindergarten through 4th grade Veterans Day musical program on Friday, November 9 from 10-10:45 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Warriors welcome community members and local veterans to attend, as they remember and pay respect to all men and women who have died serving our country in a war. Reservations are currently being accepted by calling Webster Elementary School during business hour at (574) 936-2520.
Jefferson Elementary School will host a PreK through 4th grade Veterans Day school-wide program for students and students’ families on Monday, November 12, from 9-9:30 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Community members and local veterans are encouraged to attend. Students in K-4th grade will be present a memorable Veterans Day tribute of song and dance. Jefferson families are welcome to attend and may reserve a spot by calling Jefferson Elementary School during business hours at (574) 936-2443.
Washington Discovery Academy will host an all school convocation in the gymnasium to honor Veterans from 1:30-2 p.m. on Monday, November 12. Each grade level (K-4) will be presenting something related to Veterans Day. All community members and WDA family and friends are welcome to attend. No reservations are necessary.
