On Thursday, October 25th, about 9:45 at night, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop in the area of Michigan and Tyler Roads on a red 2000 Jeep.
During the traffic stop, Officer Wozniak utilized his canine partner Irok on the exterior of the vehicle. Irok alerted to the presence of narcotics and search of the vehicle resulted in finding 1.1 grams of methamphetamine and 3.3 grams of marijuana.
The driver of the vehicle, 41 year old Michael D. Jacobs of Mishawaka, and a passenger 41 year old Angela M. Singleton of Bremen were both taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana and lodged in the Marshall County Jail. Jocobs was held on a $3,000 cash bond while Singleton’s bond was set at $1,500.
