Scarecrow-clip-artThe 6th Annual Best Scarecrow Contest sponsored by The Pilot News and WTCA AM 1050 & FM 106.1 is well underway.  This contest is just a fun way for your two Plymouth media to bring a little more excitement to fall to the community.

Those businesses participating have a chance at winning advertising packages from both WTCA and the Pilot News.

We need you to tell us which scarecrows are the best.  There are 2 dozen scattered around the area, some inside and some outside.  Take a look at the scarecrows between now and October 31st and then grab a ballot in the Pilot Newspaper, or in the lobby at WTCA or from any of the participating businesses and vote for your top three favorites. You can also vote on-line by emailing your top three favorites to wtca@am1050.com or cstockton@thepilotnews.com …but please only vote one time.

The Best Scarecrow Contest ends October31st and the winners will be announced on November 2nd.

Participating businesses are: Argos Municipal Building, A.S.K. For Flowers, Black Cat Clothiers, Bowen Printing, Express Employment, Felke Florist, Heartland Artists, JMD Lifestyle, Marshall County Museum, Millea’s Liquor Store, Miller’s Health System, Miller’s Senior Living, Morrow Insurance, Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth Public Library, Plumlee Family Dentistry, Rees Theatre, Simply Thymes 2, Standard Plumbing, State Farm-Allison Kara, Treat’s Squire Shop, Two Old Crows, Uptown Retro Girl and the Women’s Care Center.
