Beginning today, Monday, October 22, the Town of Culver will be flushing hydrants. Culver typically does this twice a year to remove rust from the town’s water distribution system.
As the crew moves through the Town of Culver, you may notice a rusty color to the water coming from the faucet. The water is still safe to drink. To resolve the issue, though, turn on a cold water faucet and let the water run until it is clear.
The Culver crew should be done with the hydrants by the end of the week, Oct. 26th.
