The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office, Marshall County TRIAD and several volunteers are inviting the public to join them for “Dessert with Friends” on Tuesday, October 9th at the Life Enrichment Center, 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth.
The discussion for the late afternoon event will be Elder Exploitation. The program is to provide a short presentation with information from the local prosecutor’s office and Mr. Justin Hazlett, Section Chief of Consumer Litigation from the State Attorney General’s Office. Me. Hazlett and Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will both address the financial abuse or our elderly and family members. Resources will be identified and strategies suggested to address and combat this increasing phenomenon.
