Bicycle accidentMarshall County Police are investigating a bicyclist being struck on Saturday near Bremen.

Just before noon, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a report of a collision at on Beech Road north of Plymouth Goshen Trail involving a motor vehicle and bicyclist. 

Arriving at the scene, Officer Laffoon found that a Ford Explorer driven by 77 year old Mary McClurkin of Elkhart was traveling north on Beech Road north of Plymouth-Goshen Trail when she ran into the rear of a bicycle, which was also traveling north on Beech Road. 

The injured bicyclist, 74 year old Eli H. Miller of Nappanee was transport from the scene by ambulance to Memorial Hospital with none life threatening injuries. 

The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by Bremen Fire, Bremen EMS, and Bremen Police at the scene of the collision.
