The 17th annual Harvest Festival of Bands at Plymouth High School is this Saturday evening, September 29th.

Bryan Ames, PHS Band Director said, “The event has grown tremendously since the addition of the new artificial turf.”

There will be 18 performances on Saturday night beginning at 4:15.   B-Schools include Rensselaer, Tri-County, Triton, Manchester and Heritage while the School A class will include Lafayette Jefferson, LaPorte and Warsaw.  Awards for the Scholastic class will be at 6:10 p.m.

The Open class performances begin at 7:28 with John Glenn followed by Whitko, Bremen, Taylor, LaVille, Northwood, Knox, Elkhart Memorial and Wawasee.

Plymouth High School will perform in exhibition at 9:25 and awards for the open class will be at 9:40 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for anyone under 10 (infants are free).   Tickets are available at the gate at the Rockpile.

 

Because of the new turf and stadium, Plymouth has also been selected to host state events.   On Saturday, October 6th they will host the ISSMA Scholastic Class State Prelims and Open Class Invitational.  There will be 20 schools attending this event to compete.
